My name is Ashlyn, and I am a native English speaker from New Zealand :) I love to create lessons for my students to help them make their English language journey as enjoyable as possible! I am an online university student studying history and social anthropology.

I have two years of teaching experience in private English language schools, and I also have a CELTA certificate. Therefore, I know how to teach English effectively and create lessons to practice speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.

I love to use technology in the classroom, and I always create fun and colourful PowerPoint presentations to guide us through the lesson. I am always open to suggestions from my students. If you want to focus more on certain topics or activities, I am happy to make that possible for you.

As a creative I regard myself as someone who is innovative and ready to face the world head on.

I am a Certified TELF English teacher, all the way from South Africa, with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design. I have been in the field for close to 7 (seven) years with vast knowledge in corporate design.

My friends and family would describe me as someone who is hard working and ready to learn and develop a new skill always.

I am fluent in English and Sesotho, and I am currently learning TshiVenda which is one of the 11 (eleven) Official languages that we have in South Africa.

My daily lessons include Grammar and pronunciation, daily and casual conversation and commonly used phrases.

My resource materials include PowerPoint, Google slides and other technological presentation methods.

My goal as a teacher is to make sure that you reach you goal of improving your English language and to converse with people all over the world with no difficulty.

I am a BA in Education graduate, with vast experience in primary, secondary and higher education levels, as well as in other activities related to education. I believe I have a diverse background which makes me a very adaptable teacher and with a lot to offer.
Most of my experience is in high school ,in adult education and university students. I have been able to develop a good relationship with my students, which has translated to better communication and an altogether more rounded experience for them and myself. My name is Phumelela I am currently studying Public Relations at the University of South Africa and I am doing my last year. In 2019 I received my advanced TEFL certificate and I was awarded a pass of 98%. In high school I used to tutor pure mathematics to my peers and at that moment was when I realised that I enjoyed teaching. In my classroom I have created a safe space for my learners to make mistakes with no shame, because it is in those mistakes that I may assist them better. My teaching method is more of a personal factor which include: games, visual aids, flashcards, videos and storybooks. I used to live in Ireland, in the UK, in Spain and I live in Italy now. I have spent much time in the USA and Scandinavia as well. I have been flying around the world as a flight attendant for approx. 13 years.

I am also a qualified tour guide, a qualified ENGLISH TEACHER (teaching at various schools, flight schools and universities) and an AVIATION ENGLISH RATER/EXAMINER.

I love teaching and I believe it is really important to learn foreign languages, to get to know different nations, cultures in order to have a better idea of the world. English can be a key to open a new world for you and eliminate the barriers you have at the moment.

I love travelling and have been fortunate enough to work as an overseas representative, and then manager, for British tour operators in such diverse places as Bulgaria, Spain, Jamaica, Italy, Austria, Paris, Thailand and Cancún, where our objective was always to provide the best possible service to our customers, the holidaymakers.
I then stayed in Cancún, spending over 15 years with Mexico’s principal travel company in the growing e-commerce sector, specialising in online sales and reservations, customer care and corporate travel.
