I started taking lessons with Michel before I even moved to the Netherlands. I wanted a head start on the language, and he was amazing at helping me build a solid foundation. Thanks to him, I could already have conversations by the time I actually moved.
He is genuinely kind, patient, and always on time. He is also super easy to talk to. The classes never feel like a strict lecture, and I always felt comfortable making mistakes. He gives lots of great tips and practical advice on how locals actually speak.
I really appreciate how much he adapts to your lifestyle. If I had enough free time, he gave me homework to push my progress. If my life got too busy, we just did relaxed conversational classes to maintain my level.
At first, I didn't even have a specific goal. Michel was the one who motivated me to take the CNaVT exam. His exam prep went totally above and beyond. We didn't just stick to the official past exams. Michel made custom practice materials and even recorded personalised audio files so that I had all the practice and confidence needed for the day of the exam.
The best part? Thanks to his support, I passed the exam with flying colors! If you want a reliable teacher who genuinely cares and adapts to your needs, Michel is the absolute best. I highly recommend him.

Michel is a wonderful teacher and person. He makes the lessons in the way that you learn in a very easy and fun way. Very professional, using many tools . He makes you feel very comfortable that was very important for me . I would recommend him to everyone from the bottom of my heart.

Michel helped me prepare for the CNaVT exam, which I need to study in the Netherlands. He had materials from past exams that were very useful and knew exactly how to prepare me. I especially needed help with writing, spelling rules, and expanding my vocabulary, and he focused on those areas. His support made a big difference : )

Dutch lessons from (master) Michel are awesome! Every lesson offers something fun that makes my daughters look forward to the lesson every time. Games, videos, a chat about something current. It's almost more fun than face 2 face :) Michel knows exactly how to structure the lesson and from the first lesson the girls were already completely into it after a few months without Dutch lessons. After just a few lessons I can already see how much progress they are making! In short: we are very enthusiastic! Show originalNederlandse les van (meester) Michel is te gek! Elke les biedt iets leuks waardoor mijn dochters elke keer uitkijken naar de les. Spelletjes, filmpjes, een praatje over iets actueels. Het is bijna nog leuker dan face 2 face :) Michel weet precies hoe hij de les moet opbouwen en vanaf de 1e les zaten de meiden er al weer helemaal in na een paar maanden geen Nederlandse les. Ik merk na slechts een paar lessen al hoeveel progressie ze maken! Kortom: we zijn reuze enthousiast!

Master Michel is a very communicative teacher. He is also very helpful if you don't understand something, he just explains it again. Sometimes he also makes jokes in between (not always that funny ;-)). During the lesson he always sees the positive in everything. Daarnaast is hij heel behulpzaam als je het niet snapt, dan legt hij het gewoon opnieuw uit. Soms maakt hij ook wel grapjes tussendoor (niet altijd even grappig ;-)). Tijdens de les ziet hij altijd het positieve in alles . Wij vonden meester Michel dit jaar een hele fijne en enthousiaste meester om mee te werken.

Michel is a very nice and fun teacher. He puts you at ease, has humor and the teaching material matches the interests of the student.
