I am Spanish born, but lived in England my first 4 years, and later in Canada close to 15 years.
Since my time there (in which I worked as a Spanish teaching assistant in University) I have been teaching Spanish or English (to non-English speakers, of course) in different ways and formats.
I am also a professional translator and Sworn Interpreter.
I really enjoy teaching and I have identified 3 main aspects that slow students down. They can be broken down into Articulation, Listening and Formulating.
So, for many years I have had a lot of success in accelerating my students' progress.
Lately, I have also added the concept of Comprehensible Input (which is another accelerator!!) and the results are even better.
I personally also use these concepts in my own language learning (I am currently learning arabic).
Of course, I can also accompany you in learning along any of the "official" pathways for certifications, etc.
I am also a firm believer in learning languages without pressure, stress or any sort of situation that will reduce the student's capacity for accessing their own resources at will.
